Name it.
We find it.

You tell us the piece. Maker, model, era, finish. We hunt it on the drive. When it arrives at The Keep it gets documented, restored, and a collector card engraved in your name. The Warrant is how Subjects become real.

Frequently asked questions

How does Lords of Lorne acquire its furniture?
Marcus Nelson and his daughter cross the American Midwest each quarter on a sourcing drive — a working circuit through estate sales, private collections, regional dealers, and personal contacts cultivated over years. Each candidate piece is assessed in person before purchase. Subjects that don't meet the standard are passed over. Subjects that do are brought to The Keep in Ketchum for restoration and documentation.
What is a Subject in Lords of Lorne terminology?
Subject is the term Lords of Lorne uses for any piece that has passed assessment and entered The Keep. Once admitted, the piece is no longer a commodity — it carries a serial number, a documented chain of custody, a Dalriada tartan provenance pocket, and a brass MacDougall crest plate. Subjects remain in the inventory until they are repatriated to a Custodian.
Can I buy a piece directly from the inventory?
The Subjects shown on the inventory are real pieces in custody at The Keep, available to a Custodian by direct inquiry. If you don't see a specific piece you're seeking, issue a Warrant — a commission for Lords of Lorne to source it specifically on the next Midwest drive.
How are Lords of Lorne pieces priced?
Pricing is bespoke per Subject. The $2,500 Warrant deposit is applied in full to the final purchase price. Final pricing depends on the maker, condition, restoration work performed, and the rarity of the piece. Trophy-tier Subjects (Eames Lounge, Saarinen Tulip, Bertoia Sonambient) command higher prices than catalogued production pieces. Lords of Lorne provides a condition report and final price before any Subject is delivered. Deposit terms apply ↗
What does it mean that a Subject is "awaiting card"?
Awaiting card is the status of a Subject that has completed restoration at The Keep but has not yet been claimed by a Custodian. Once a Custodian commits, the collector card is engraved with their name and the date of transfer, and the Subject is repatriated.
Where does Lords of Lorne deliver?
Direct delivery is available throughout the Mountain West and Bay Area — Ketchum, Sun Valley, Jackson Hole, Big Sky, Park City, and the San Francisco Bay Area. Subjects may also be collected at The Keep by appointment. White-glove shipping outside these regions can be arranged on request.

This Subject is not yet in custody.
